OUR STORY
There was alchemy in the air…
It was 2016, the year two former bartenders and current industry trailblazers would join forces to form Kegtails – and ensure the South African cocktail industry would never be the same again.
Craig Shapiro and Pieter Oosthuizen both have a deep passion for innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, quality liquid, service excellence and a deep drive to find a creative solution to an age-old conundrum – how to create a premium cocktail that is quick to serve, convenient, consistent and accessible.
A few short years later, Kegtails is South Africa’s leading cocktail manufacturer. Our batched cocktails are handcrafted by expert mixologists, blending award-winning spirits and liqueurs, with fresh, natural juices and infusions. Today, we offer a range of different products and cocktail solutions for any mood, any occasion, any setting – from bars and restaurants, to events and home entertaining.
Though still relatively young, Kegtails is already helping scores of bars and restaurants around South Africa improve efficiency and margins without compromising on quality. From its inception, Kegtails’ innovative approach to cocktails has piqued the industry’s interest – leading to a partnership with Bacardi, the largest privately owned spirits company in the world.
